Performance and Features

(1) Light transmittance: The light transmittance of PC board can reach up to 89%, which is comparable to glass. UV coated board will not produce yellowing, atomization, and poor light transmission when exposed to sunlight. After ten years, the light transmission loss is only 6%, the PVC attrition rate is as high as 15% -20%, and the glass fiber is 12% -20%.

(2) Impact resistance: The impact strength is 250-300 times that of ordinary glass, 30 times that of acrylic sheet of the same thickness, 2-20 times that of tempered glass, and there is no crack when falling below two meters with a 3kg hammer. It has the reputation of "unbreakable glass" and "ringing steel".

(3) UV protection: One side of the PC board is coated with anti-ultraviolet (UV) coating, and the other side has anti-condensation treatment, which integrates anti-ultraviolet, heat insulation and anti-drip functions. It can block the passage of ultraviolet rays, and is suitable for protecting valuable works of art and exhibits from ultraviolet damage.

(4) Light weight: the specific gravity is only half of the glass, saving the cost of transportation, handling, installation and support frame.

(5) Flame retardant: The national standard GB50222-95 confirms that the PC board is a flame retardant level, that is, B1 level. The ignition point of the PC board itself is 580 degrees Celsius, and it will self-extinguish after leaving the fire. It will not produce toxic gases when burning, and will not contribute to the spread of fire.

(6) Bendability: It can be installed into an arch, semi-circular roof and window by cold bending on the site according to the design drawings. The minimum bending radius is 175 times the thickness of the plate, and it can also be hot bent.

(7) Sound insulation: The sound insulation effect of the PC board is obvious, and it has better sound insulation than the glass and the Acrylic board of the same thickness. Under the same thickness, the sound insulation of the PC board is 3-4DB higher than that of the glass. It is the material of choice for highway noise barriers internationally.

(8) Energy saving: keep cool in summer and keep warm in winter. The thermal conductivity (K value) of the PC board is lower than that of ordinary glass and other plastics. The thermal insulation effect is 7% -25% higher than that of the same glass. The thermal insulation of the PC board is up to 49%. As a result, the heat loss is greatly reduced. It is used in buildings with heating equipment and is an environmentally friendly material.

(9) Temperature adaptability: The PC board does not become cold and brittle at -100 degrees Celsius, does not soften at 135 degrees Celsius, and has no significant changes in its mechanical and mechanical properties in harsh environments.

(10) Weather resistance: The PC board can maintain the stability of various physical indicators in the range of -40 ° C to 120 ° C. The artificial climate aging test is 4000 hours, and the yellowing degree is 2. The reduction value of light transmittance is only 0.6%.

(11) Anti-condensation: When the outdoor temperature is 0 ° C, the indoor temperature is 23 ° C, and the indoor relative humidity is lower than 80%, the inner surface of the material does not condense.
